The success of Childaid Network is made possible by an active interaction of many people who are committed to our education projects in Germany and on site. We are happy to present some of the members of our growing team, their motivations, and how they help that your donation makes a difference.

Board

Dr. Martin Kasper

Since 2006, I am committed full time as a volunteer for the foundation. I vouch for the good use of the funds.

To enable indigent kids a bright future is my calling. It is a great gift and luxury to be able to devote my life for this cause.

Michael Legeland

As an honorary board member in charge of finance, I guarantee keeping our cost structure very lean, meeting all non-profit requirements, and making your donations most effective for the project.

The work for Childaid Network is most meaningful for me: Social commitment combined with professionalism to the benefit of the children.

Dr. Ute Nieschalk

As an honorary board member I’m responsible to earn the trust of our donators. I especially work hard for cooperations, the projects in Nepal, as well as the organization of the team. To be able to work together with many talented and interesting people and to help achieving more educational equality, individual responsibility, and ultimately more peace in the world motivates me.

Project Team

Petra Shakya

As a project referent I coordinate between our partners in foreign countries and Childaid Network in Germany: I’m accompanying the project partners during development, execution, and evaluation of the projects. I guarantee the complete documentation of the effective use of the funding for Childaid Network.

Robert Ewers

As a project manager I am responsible for ensuring that our funding is effective. I am in control of the project settlement in north east India, I’m personally accompanying the projects over there and coordinate the collaboration with our partners on site.

The decision to work for Childaid Network was made with the effective concepts and the partnership on eye level in mind. To see the projects grow and show their anticipated effect motivates me.

Norbert Grobbel

My task is to coordinate the school projects for Childaid Network in Nepal. This includes the construction work necessary because of the earthquake as well as the improvement of teaching quality at the about 40 schools in the Northern Ramechap District.

Malte Martensen

In my free time I advise project teams in Guwahati about the modernization and the expansion of a large vocational training center. I try to encourage and use the best know-how to facilitate the success.

I want to contribute with my experience in management and consulting to give young people in other regions of the world a real chance.

Dr. Karl-Heinz Zinnecker

Because of my long experience in many countries of the earth it is a pleasure to support Childaid Network voluntarily with planning, execution, and monitoring of vocational training projects.
It excites me to see how much you can achieve on site with simple means.

Sibylle Bach

For your donation to arrive safely I check on our projects and control the contracts and documentation so that not even the Finanzamt should have a reason to complaint.

Dagmar von Tschurtschenthaler

I voluntarily represent the friends of the Barefoot College and form the bridge to an important cooperation partner of Childaid Network, the Barefoot College in Rajasthan. I also look after the sponsors for these projects.

I am convinced that we can only alleviate and stop the shocking poverty of children if we are working together and well connected.

Finance

Michael Legeland

As an honorary board member in charge of finance, I guarantee keeping our cost structure very lean, meeting all non-profit requirements, and making your donations most effective for the project.

It is my responsibility to ensure that your donation is booked correctly, that the receipts and statements are created correctly, and that the figures are correct at the end of the year.

Donor support and administration

Bettina Dilger

Bettina Dilger

I am keeping track of adresses, helping with correspondence, organize events, and manage our office for our communication with you to work as well as possible.

I would like to see the projects continue to grow and more and more children being helped by the help of my work.

Susanne Kiesl

In addition to administrative and organizational activities, my responsibilities include the care of donors.
I am convinced by the concept of help for the self-help of Childaid.

Frederik Hesse

I volunteer to ensure that our IT works and the website content, visual and technical is always up to date.

Events and Public Relations

Petra Schwägerl

Voluntarily I organize events, actions, and team-events. I like to include other non-profit organizations into the planning.

Ehrenamtlich organisiere ich Veranstaltungen, Aktionen und Team-Events. Gerne binde ich bei den Veranstaltungen auch andere gemeinnützige Organisationen mit ein. Only together we will be able to draw attention to necessary help and support.

Sandra Hörbelt

The children of our Snehalaya homes in Guwahati are very close to my heart, I want to know they are well looked after. With the organization of charity sale events with friends and an annual Christmas campaign with my employer, I help to attract donations and find new sponsors. I visit our children’s homes regularly at my own expense to report first-hand to my donors, and feel the encounters with the children as a reward.

Thomas Brinkmann

At the Taunusgymnasium in Königstein, I motivate the students to take action in the interest of the children in the project regions. I’ve been to Northeast India twice myself and taught there.

Claudia Passow

Our flyers and everything print, as well as our “Durchblick” should have a modern, appealing design and consistent texts, so they look professional and convincing. I’ll do this on a voluntary basis.

Andreas Börner

I volunteer for convincing strategies and effective marketing. Concepts that are successful in business can often help us too.
